My brother is soooo funny...

Usually, Addy only laughs like this for Laken. However, she thought Cade was pretty funny last night- which was great for him because he works so hard to get ANYBODY to laugh at him. I don't remember Laken and Cade laughing like this for very long, so I'm trying to capture all of these precious moments that I know won't last long...

This Litttle Piggy

Addyson's cousin Mary Katelyn(top picture), who is now four, has given her many precious hand me downs. This is one of my favorites. I have been looking forward to Addy being able to wear this precious piggy outfit. Of course the hat only stayed on for about 30 seconds, but I thought it would be fun to see her and Mary Katelyn around the same age with the same outfit. Thanks for sharing Mary Katelyn!!

Cade loses his first tooth!!

Cade is in second grade this year, so he was feeling really left out of the snaggle tooth club. He finally let us help him pull his first tooth today after weeks of having it barely hang on.

Laken and Cade's first 5K

Last Saturday Laken and Cade went with Nana and Papa to Water Valley to compete in their first 5K!! Here's how they explain the outcome: Cade ran the entire race, but Laken still beat him. Back to School

Where did summer go? It seemed to go especially fast this summer, maybe because I spent alot of it in summer school!! Anyway, Brad left at 2:00 this morning for CHINA (he'll be updating his MSU travel blog with pictures throughout the week). Nana arrived around 6:30 am to babysit Addyson because I started my internship today. Laken and I walked Cade to his classroom where he already knows a few kids and he went to this same school last year. Then Laken's school is right across a parking lot from the school where I'm doing my internship, so I walked with her to the gym where they meet each morning. Laken had a WONDERFUL day, she couldn't stop telling me the details... she gets a locker this year and gets to take drama class and is playing the flute in band. Cade said his day was fine. He did alot of math. A man of few words...

Beating the Heat

We spent most of today at the pool. Addyson is such a poser. I couldn't get Laken and Cade to sit still long enough to pose-I've proved it by giving you these action shots.
